The addition and renovation to the elementary school in Levenworth, IN was part of a multi-million dollar 5 campus renovation and addition. The original school built in the 1930’s, all cast in place concrete, therefore renovation was very challenging but was still completed on time and under budget.
The facility would be fully occupied during construction. Highly detailed phasing plans were required. Shireman rethought all traffic patterns. Dust, smoke, and safety barrier designs were employed. With no “as built” drawing, we had to use creative thinking to accomplish the renovation work. We had to lead a team of designers and consultants to think outside of the box.
Your organization provides a common sense approach to all efforts and a very solid, well thought through, timetable that was invaluable in keeping the reconstruction efforts on target.
